Our customer

The Lehnertz poultry farm in Habscheid in the Eifel region is now in its third generation and is expanding with Mr. Lambert Lehnertz. The newly built packing and storage hall with adjoining loading ramp covers approx. 4000 square meters. Equipped with the latest technologies and a high degree of automation, the owner is consciously focusing on a future-proof orientation – particularly in the area of traceability. There is a particular focus on animal welfare, sustainability and fair partnerships, the latter of which was even rewarded with 1st place in a competition for “Fair Partners” in 2022.

The challenge and solution

Our customer approached us even before the construction phase of the new production hall, which enabled efficient project planning and smooth execution of the pits, etc. A lifting device was required for the outside area of the loading ramp and a solution for the inside area that would connect the two production levels. A throughput of 6 pallets with a total of 6 tons of raw goods was to be ensured with one lifting operation. Pits are required for loading/unloading at ground level, which were planned and perfectly integrated before construction began, taking into account the platform dimensions. Outside, a flexible loading lift table was to be used for loading/unloading sprinters and light trucks with and without tail lifts.
